1. Computer screen overview
Many people buy a computer mainly focusing on the computer's cpu and graphics card performance. These two things are important, but there is another thing that plays a vital role in the computer experience, that is, the computer screen. The screen is a computer's input and output device, it can visually present the contents of the computer before us. A good computer screen not only makes us look more comfortable, but also improves our productivity. So how to determine the quality of a screen? Next, I will introduce the various parameters of the screen.
2. Screen panel classification
Today's LCD display panels are mainly divided into three categories: TN panels (twisted nematic), VA panels (vertical alignment), and IPS panels (in-plane switching).
The cost of TN panel is very low, and it is widely used in various low-end displays. Because of its fast response speed, low delay, small amount of motion blur, high refresh rate, and not easy to leak light, it is very suitable for gaming displays. But its viewing angle is relatively small, and the color display effect is not good.
The screen of the VA panel can be divided into PVA and MVA. Now it is mostly used in LCD screens, which belong to the wide viewing angle panel. The shortcomings of this panel are slow response speed and high latency. But its color display effect is good, the image contrast is high, the viewing angle is between TN panel and IPS panel, suitable for office display screen.
Unlike the TN screen, the IPS panel screen is a hard screen, and pressing the screen with a finger will not cause the screen to have the same effect as ripples. The screen response speed of this panel is between the VA panel and the TN panel, and the viewing angle and color display effect are very suitable for people who have extremely high requirements for the color reproduction effect of the screen, but at the same time it is also expensive.
